They say that high school is a perfect, though slightly horrific, reference to life. If that is so, then we are all screwed. Think about it for a second. The daily homework is to be comparable to your daily work load. Although slightly different from day to day it remains menotinous. Those kids that excelled at nearly everything; that acquired the best grades, are now your co-workers getting promotions and raises before you. The Prom king's and queen's are now your managers/cpo's/lpo's(etc...) and are still doused in light. The band and art kids are most comparable to your anti-corruption new age politicians. Love will still be like that big scarey looking bully, that'll knock you flat on your ass and take all of your lunch money. And that bully will, most likely, go on to be that co-worker whose work load you, the person they still crack on, will help carry. You will still have those few people that are always quiet and reserved and almost always in an erie way.
For some the 'lunch break' will still be a time to reconnect with the world and it's gossip, or time for catching up on work, or a time to relax and/or catch that quick, usually not healthy for you, meal. The end of the day always seems to take forever. Mondays will still be the most stressful. Tuesdays will forever look bleak. Wednesdays will still be the most productive day of the work week. Thursdays will still be spent rushing for the upcomming week-end. Friday's will be spent planning for the week-end and week-ends will always end too soon.
